KELOID REMOVAL

Excessive scar tissue can sometimes result from surgery, piercing or trauma to the skin. Our doctors can reduce these scars using cortisone injections, topical medications and/or laser treatments.

ACCUTANE (Isotretinoin)

Isotretinoin is a medicine taken by mouth to treat the most severe form of acne (nodular acne) that cannot be cleared up by any other acne treatments, including antibiotics. Severe nodular acne is when many red, swollen, tender lumps form in the skin. These can be the size of pencil erasers or larger. If untreated, nodular acne can lead to permanent scars. Isotretinoin can cause serious side effects and only be prescribed by doctors registered in the a program called iPledge.

BLU-U LIGHT TREATMENT FOR ACNE

This is an effective, non-drug treatment for moderate acne. It is ideal for patients who do not wish to take internal acne medications, or who are pregnant.
