Broken Blood Vessels

What are broken blood vessels?

Broken blood vessels occur when they’re dilated, or enlarged, just beneath your skin’s surface. This results in small, red lines that spread out into a web-shaped form. They can develop anywhere on the body, but they’re more common on the face and legs.

What causes broken blood vessels?

Genes, sun exposure, drastic changes in the weather or pressure, pregnancy, environmental irritants, rosacea, alcohol consumption, and injuries can cause broken blood vessels.

How we treat broken blood vessels

Using VBeam or Xeo laser therapy, vessels fade completely by destroying the poorly functioning vein. The laser chosen is based on the patient’s skin type. Multiple treatments may be necessary.
